Roof Trusses!

After almost four weeks of being at a standstill, the house build is moving forward again. With the help of the excavator, his bulldozer and some gravel, the truck carrying the roof trusses was able to make it to the top.
In the photo, there is a board across the trusses. It's being used as a table in cutting the mesh that is going up on the lower level to prepare the walls for the stone. (Its not easy to see the mesh in the picture as it is. If you click on it, you can see all of the many nails holding up the mesh.
In addition, the center post in the south side of the house (where the window wall will be) was placed and a notch on the north side was cut... all to get ready to put up the trusses for the roof.
Now our fingers are crossed that tomorrow the crane will make it up the driveway without much trouble.

It looks amazing! I wish we could go and see it this weekend! So close, and yet still so far!
