Things are moving along. More of the roof structuring has been done. The hole for the chimney is in place. The eaves were framed. The backing for the fireplace was put up. It's very exciting to see the house take shape. Now that we see the space and how it feels... we're contiplating on making a change by moving the planned office space from the second floor up into a loft. This would leave more of the great room open and at the same time break up some of the tall cathedral ceiling. We'll have to see what the builder thinks...
Next up: sheeting for the roof and block for the fireplace.
