In all the excitement of the house build, it appears that the blog announcement of a significant new addition to the farm was inadvertantly overlooked. Meet "Little Bill." Since he's really not-so-little, his name is quite funny and we've dropped the 'little' for the most part. We bought him from a another goat farm on November 16, 2009. He turned 4 years old a few days after he arrived. He has took to the herd and his "business" just fine.

As far as the other little boys, we are working on getting them sold. Though we could try to keep and use the biggest for stud, it would be quite complicated making sure to separate out relatives (i.e. sisters and mom.) #21 was sold yesterday. #13 was sold today. There is some interest for #12. If a home for him isn't found, we'll more than likely have him made into a wether and stay with the herd or keep Little Bill company when he has to move out becuase of kidding.
