Guests = Free labor ?

A little warmer weather here and there and we're off to try to more things done. Last weekend, Jonathan made some progress on the run-in shed whilest I stained fence posts. I'm smiling in the picture because I thought that that was the last of the perimeter posts to be stained. But, alas!, it is not. There's another stretch to be done. Getting closer though. And, then, there is more fence to put up.
This weekend we were fortunate to have some lovely house-guests for a weekend visit. We took them out for a "tour" of the farm, and wouldn't you know -- Jonathan had them working on the run in shed in no time. Some sort of "experience the farm" deal. Except for a hammered thumb, there were no casualties (despite some mumblings about worries about a wayward saw) and we got the final wall up on the shed. All we have left is the support beams for the roof and then the roof. (Oh yea, and more staining.) We hope they enjoyed their stay and hope they come back (and not just to work!) But want to publicize that any future guests to the Hamman's household may want to bring their own work gloves and boots. :)
