Things otherwise have been pretty much business as usual around the farm. We've separated the little bucks from the little does and have sold two of the little bucks to another farm just down the road.
The chickens have been completely "free-ranging it."
Despite worries of foxes and hawks, they have faired well. The have also, however, made a huge mess out of the shed by pooping everywhere, shredding up old feed bags and spreading out hay. They must like the shed so much that they've decided to start laying there instead of in the coop! We disovered the huge pile of eggs after two days of low yield in the coop. We'll have to figure out some way or another to encourage them to actually range and not just hangout in the shed....
