A few things are going on at the same time these days. It's very exciting... we would love to be moved in before school starts in mid-August and the more things being done, the more optimisitic we become. Floors: backerboard and pre-finished wood floors going in. Walls: crown moulding going up. Decks: final railings going in. Electric and plumbing: all of the fixtures have been delivered and ready to be hung. Once the floor is down, the cabinets should be placed. If things go as scheduled, that's supposed to happen this Wednesday.
As an aside, there has been one unfortunate happening. One of the workers cut his thumb with a table saw while working on the flooring. We heard he required 21 stiches but didn't appear to have had any deep damage. Hopefully, he'll heal well.
