The pictures don't quite do justice on how much the excavator has improved the land in just a short few days. He re-directed the overflow from the pond with new underground pipes (no more marsh!), made a creek bed (where a spring had made another marsh) and evened out road side.
It sounds like the new house plans will be ready next week. Things are moving again!
