Today, for the first time ever, we were able to DRIVE to our homesite. The excavator cleared the way all the way up to the top. It still needs a little bit of grading but its not quite as steep as initially thought. The photos don't seem to do justice as they mostly appear to show mostly piles of dirt ... it is quite amazing how much has changed with a bulldozer and a few days.

As for other things, there's a kink with the financing and the appraisal. (Fingers crossed on that!) Jonathan has put up a temporary fence for the goats so they can have a little space to roam (but not in the way of the bulldozer or other building actvities.)

And, with the help of his brother, Jonathan started a chicken coop. It appears once we get miss baby goat #17 (who, by the way is doing well) out of the house her spot will be taken by some baby chicks.
