Fall festival

A few weeks ago, we hosted the parish Fall Festival at the farm. It was great fun. In addition to an Oktoberfest feast, there were activities and games for the kids including a pony ride. This meant that Chester, our recently aquired Haflinger pony who is being boarded at a nearby stable, came out to the farm and lived in the pasture for a few days. He seemed to enjoy himself (and all the green grass!) and we enjoyed seeing a pony on the farm.

We enjoyed a bonfire, roasted marshmellows and watched the moonrise.
