With a little snag here and there (i.e. the wrong vanity stop was sent, tempered windows placed in the wrong place) things are moving along... the front steps should be done in a day or so. The light fixtures are going up -- inside and out. Kids love them. Especially the fan controls on the wall.

The spiral staircase and railing is nearly done. We actually all pitched in a little for this with sanding and sealing the railing pieces.Bathrooms are coming together....As far as the farm goes, things are holding steady. We have tried to be very diligent about checking goat's "color" (meaning making sure they are not anemic from worms) and then treating them ASAP if there are any signs.On another note, we had a surprise plant pop up in the field... it's a pumpkin!! And we purchased a blade for the tractor. It can be used both to push snow out of the way and relocate washed away gravel.
