The bottle-babies have now transitioned out of the house and into the field. (Fingers crossed we don't have any really cold spells.) We initially put them with the other momma-baby pairs but they didn't integrate at all. They just kept to themselves. So we put them with the young does and 2 nannies that lost their babies. One of them, nicknamed "Blaze" is allowing other nannie's babies to nurse and tends to "kid-sit" a lot. She may not 'adopt' the bottle-babies, but we're hoping she'll at least look out for them.

A river runs thru it...
And with spring, has come the rain ... so much in fact a new 'river' has appeared in the SW goat field. And seeing it as that goats hate running water, they really are none too pleased. (Their shed is prime water-front property at the moment!)
